Help – for Photo (display) Options

The photo display options offer two different methods of display:

i)     ‘mini’ versions   - ‘mini’ in that 3 photos go side by side – thus file size is ‘mini’ and better for slow network

ii)    ‘full sized’ versions   – designed to take full advantage of monitor width

Simplest Summary:  If you connect to the WEB with a phone line (or other slow connection), there is now an effective way for you to see all photos – by using method i).

Each method provides some usage guidance when it starts – please read it.

The fact is that each method has advantages and disadvantages.  I enjoy each method.  Please experiment and make your own judgments. At the end of a method i) you can link to the related method ii) --- and ii) links to i).

Method i) provides a nice overview of all photos (and this is good even for viewers that have a fast connection)!  If your connection is very slow, you can be very selective of which ones you get larger images uploaded for viewing.

Method ii) provides an easier way to see the larger images – just scroll! (Because it automatically uploads all larger photo versions.)

Comment: for some OTHER large photo collections, I provide a 3rd method that shows even larger images on large monitors – and it really needs a fast web connections.
