Help – for Photo (display) Options

Five option selections for seeing Christmas Party photos are provided – each has its own ‘link’ – numbered 1 through 5.  Example is below.

Simplest Summary:  If you connect to the WEB with a phone line (or other slow connection), there is now an effective way for you to see all photos.

Simple Summary:  Slow connection? --- options ‘1’ and ‘3’ (seen above) are an effective way for you to see all photos.

Summary for the other extreme: If you have a true high speed network connection, you may want to read no more – just try each option.

The selection options offer one of three different methods of display:

i)     mini’ versions   - ‘mini’ in that 3 photos go side by side – thus file size is ‘mini’ and better for slow network

ii)    full sized’ versions   – designed to take full advantage of monitor width

iii)   ‘auto-scaling’ to fit monitor  - allows for slideshow viewing or selecting (with saving allowed)

Each method provides some usage guidance when it starts – please read it.

The fact is that all three methods have advantages and disadvantages.  I enjoy each method.  Please experiment and make your own judgments.

BEWARE - option ‘5’ (method iii) may fail - if you use a standard phone line to connect or your neighborhood’s ‘high speed’ network has an overload and is not very fast!

That’s the bad news.  Good news – ‘5’ provides rarely seen advantages for a large, high resolution monitor (when supported by a high speed network).
