Help on Site Usage

This website has a home page that has, as its major purpose, providing links to other specific documents or photos.  Many links are provided with button icons in the top row.  There are also links throughout the home web page and in photo reference items.

Some links are to ‘pdf’ documents that need a ‘PDF reader’ program on you computer.  The left edge of the home page provides a way to get the program.

Most of the usage will be from web browser ‘Microsoft Internet Explorer’. With that browser, the items referenced by a link are almost always opened in a new window.

When you want to see the home web page, you simply find it (perhaps behind the newly opened window).

But the website is also to work with other browsers – such as Firefox and Mac’s Safari.

However, computer product organizations are very poor at having a true standard way of doing anything – including web browsers.

An example of interest here is that Firefox ignores the ‘open in new window command’ and opens the item in a new tab.  When you want to see the original home web page, you must change the ‘tab’ at which you are looking.
